How to use your own PDF as a template

Short answer
In Make a document, choose My own PDF, press Upload the file, then drag your columns from the side panel onto the page where each value should print. Press Save Template.
Steps
- 1Upload it: choose My own PDF and press Upload the file.
- 2Place the fields: drag columns onto the page. Drag again to move. Change font, size, colour and alignment.
- 3Save it: press Save Template, or Save and make a document.
Good to know
- Fields are tied to the board's columns, so a PDF template works on its board and copies of it.
- Text does not wrap; leave room for long values.
- PDF templates print Western European letters only. Emoji or other alphabets stop the PDF being made; use Word for those.
- Subitems, updates and connected items cannot be placed on a PDF. Use Word for lists.
- Place at least one field before saving.
