A PDF template won't make the document: how to fix it

Short answer
A value contains letters a PDF template cannot print, such as emoji, Polish ł, Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic or Chinese. Use a Word template for those documents, or remove the characters from the column.

- Make sure at least one field is placed on the PDF.
- A PDF template only works on the board it was made on, and copies of that board.
