Mirror Item webhooks: what they do and how to transfer ownership
Mirror Item Multiple Boards · Updated
Short answer
Webhooks notify Mirror Item when an item, column, group, update or subitem changes on a board. You manage them in Board Configuration, and if the person who installed them leaves, transfer ownership so syncing keeps working.
What each webhook does
| Webhook | What it syncs |
|---|---|
| Item Name Changed | Item name edits |
| Column Value Changed | Any column value change |
| Item Moved to Group | Moves between groups |
| Item Deleted | Deletion events |
| Update Created, Edited, Deleted | Comments and replies |
| Subitem webhooks | Subitem names, columns and updates |
Each webhook has a toggle and a status. Green Active means it is working, red Inactive means it is off. Enable All and Disable All change them in one go. Turning off a board's webhooks is how you set up one-way sync.
Tip: Subitem webhooks can only be created once a subitem exists on the board. Add one subitem first if they show as inactive.
Transfer webhook ownership
Webhooks belong to the user who installed them. If that person leaves the team, loses board access or you want one admin to own them, use Transfer Ownership in Board Configuration. The new owner must have authorized the app and be subscribed to the board to appear in the list.
