Mirror Item automation not triggering: how to fix it

Short answer
Automation recipes need the Standard plan or above. If you are on it, check the recipe is switched on and that the trigger value matches exactly, since status labels are case sensitive.
Check these in order
- 1Your plan is Standard or above.
- 2The recipe is switched on in the Automation Center, not just saved.
- 3The trigger matches exactly. "In Progress" and "in progress" are different labels.
- 4The item meets every filter on the recipe. Remove filters to test, then add them back one at a time.
- 5The target board and group in the recipe still exist.
