Your data and uninstalling

What stays in Jira, what's deleted with the app, and how to export it first.

Worklogs, estimates and time tags are stored in Jira and stay there if you uninstall. The app's own data (settings, teams, schedules, holidays, review periods, submissions, signatures, billing periods, rates, saved insights, timers and plans) is deleted with it.

  1. Log or discard any running or waiting timers.
  2. In Settings → Export & uninstall, press Download .zip. It holds a README, data.json and submissions.csv.
  3. Uninstall the app from Apps → Manage apps in Jira.

Data leaves Atlassian only for approved-timesheet PDFs (rendered on Google Cloud in the US) and for Google Calendar, for people who connect it. Read our privacy policy.
