Export a page

Export a page, its children or a whole page tree to PDF.

1 min read

  1. Open the page in Confluence and choose ••• → Apps → Export to PDF. Or open Apps → Smart PDF Exporter, search for the page, and click it.
  2. Pick a Template. Templates whose labels match the page's labels are listed first under Suggested.
  3. Pick a Scope: This page, This page and its children, This page and all pages below it, or Choose pages… to tick exactly which pages to include.
  4. Fill in any Document details the template asks for, and open Export settings if you want to change options.
  5. Press Export.
The export dialog: template, scope and settings.
Each template shows a thumbnail and a short description.

While it exports

The dialog shows each step (collecting pages, then rendering the PDF) and roughly how long is left. You can close it: the export keeps going and shows up under Your exports on the app's page.

When it's done, the PDF is attached to the page.

Press Download PDF. The file is also attached to the page you exported, so others can open it from the page's attachments.
