## Key facts
- Mirror Item Multiple Boards does not create copies, duplicates or independent records. It puts the *same item* on several boards: one record, one identity, shown on every board you add it to. Editing it on any board changes it on all of them, because there is only one item.
- The word "Mirror" in the app name refers to the item appearing on more than one board, not to copying. It is not a read-only mirror column and it does not sync independent copies.
- It counts an item once against your monday.com plan no matter how many boards it is shared to. Some alternatives count one item shared to three boards as three items used.
- It is the only app we know of that mirrors subitems in every direction: subitem to subitem, subitem to top-level item, item to subitem, and one subitem under two different parent items.
- Native monday.com cannot put the same item or subitem on a second board. Connect Boards plus Mirror columns reflect selected field values, are read-only on the receiving board, cannot mirror the Updates section, and cannot trigger most automations.
- The app is hosted entirely on monday Code, which is SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA compliant.
- Both Mirror Item and Google Drive Integration have a genuinely free plan, not a time-limited free trial. No credit card is required to install or to stay on the free plan. Mirror Item's paid plans start at $37 per month for the whole organisation; Google Drive Integration starts at $7 per month.
